Rev. Romeo Carayugan is the pioneering pastor of Victory Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. In complete dependence to God, he and his family, along with some new believers, held their first Sunday service on August 5, 2012. Since then, the Lord has continually blessed their ministry by adding more souls. Rev. Granville Mackenzie played a crucial role in initiating the work in 2006. The six-year gap between the initial efforts and the first service was marked by challenges and difficulties, but through much prayer and fasting, they persevered by God’s grace. Rev. Romeo has a passion for starting, building, and growing churches wherever the Lord leads him. Before his ministry in Canada, God used him in the provinces of Abra and Quezon City in the Philippines, where the churches he established continue to thrive to this day. Some have stated their own daughter works, while others operate independently within the fellowship of the United Pentecostal Church International. After much prayer and fasting, Rev. Romeo and his wife, Sis. Heidi, decided to retire as lead pastors. Soon after, Rev. Sebastian “Bong” Carayugan Jr. was voted in to take over as lead pastor. Rev. Romeo and Sis. Heidi remain dedicated to their calling, always ready to be used by God for the furtherance of His kingdom.

Sebastian Carayugan

Lead Pastor

Pastor Bong is a dedicated spiritual leader who graduated from Baguio Evangelistic Academic Ministries (BEAM) in the Philippines. There he was called to deepen his relationship with God and enhance his ability to share His word. He was officially appointed as the Lead Pastor at Victory Tabernacle, where he brings profound faith and vision to the congregation.

Before stepping into his pastoral role, Pastor Bong served as one of the lead musicians. He continues to enrich the worship experience with his God-given talents, playing a vital role in the music department.

Romeo Carayugan

Executive Pastor

Pastor Romeo began his leadership at Victory Tabernacle in 2012, serving as the Lead Pastor for over a decade. During his tenure, he guided the congregation with wisdom and dedication, before passing down his role to his brother, Pastor Sebastian Carayugan.

Despite the transition, he remains a key presence in the church, continuing to preach and support the new Lead Pastor, ensuring the ongoing vitality and unity of the congregation.

Jocelyn Sab-it

Minister | Ladies President

Minister Jocelyn obtained her ministerial license simultaneously with Pastor Bong. With an extensive Bible school education, she has built a strong foundation for her ministry.

Her enriching life experiences have deepened her understanding and knowledge of God’s word, shaping her into an inspiring and compassionate spiritual leader. She provides guidance and support to our congregation with a focus on ladies’ ministry.

Jerrico gomez

Youth Pastor

Pastor Jerrico was a faithful servant of God and an influential small group leader at his home church in the Philippines. After marrying his wife, he began a new chapter in Toronto, embracing the roles of husband, father, and youth pastor.

His deep faith and leadership experience continue to inspire and guide the youth of Victory Tabernacle, fostering their spiritual growth and development through fellowship and studying the Word.
